Our Story · Houston, TX
Stormrise was built by three people who got tired of watching Houston homeowners get shortchanged. By storm chasers, by unlicensed crews, and by an industry that counts on homeowners not knowing any better.
How Stormrise Started
The roofing industry in Houston has a transparency problem. Most homeowners never find out, until something goes wrong, years later, after the contractor is gone.
Rafael and Dulce saw it from the outside. Alfonso lived it from the inside. Together, they built Stormrise to do the one thing the industry resists: be completely honest about what your roof needs.
"Never do work on a client's home that you wouldn't do on your own."
— The Stormrise standard, from day one

What you should know
The roofing industry has a transparency problem. Most homeowners only discover it when something goes wrong, years later, after the contractor is gone.
Many contractors install whatever materials they can get cheapest. No manufacturer certification, no factory warranty. Just a handshake promise from a company that may not exist in two years.
Storm chasers bring whoever they can find after a big weather event. Inexperienced crews mean improper installation, which voids manufacturer warranties and creates problems that don't show up until the next heavy rain.
Most homeowners get a number and a handshake. No breakdown of what's included, no written guarantee, no way to verify the contractor's license or insurance. They trust because they have to.
The Stormrise Difference
Every decision we've made, from the materials we install to how we communicate, comes from one question: would we do this on our own home?
We created a 21-point drone inspection process because we wanted homeowners to see exactly what we see. No guessing, no vague estimates. A same-day digital report with aerial photos and plain-language findings before we leave.
License, insurance, bonding. We send it in advance, every time. We built Stormrise on the principle that trust should be earned with evidence, not assumed based on a pitch.
We use automation and AI to respond faster, communicate better, and manage every project more precisely than a traditional roofing company. When others take days to follow up, we respond in minutes. That's not an accident. It's by design.
Every estimate, every warranty, every guarantee, documented before a single shingle is touched. If we said it, it's in the contract. If it's not in the contract, we didn't say it.
Meet the Founders
Three co-founders. Different backgrounds. One standard.
Rafael comes from the world of marketing, automation, and business systems. He's the reason Stormrise responds faster, communicates more clearly, and runs more efficiently than most roofing companies twice its size. He built the infrastructure, so the team can focus on the roof.
Dulce leads the relationships that hold Stormrise together. With clients, with the team, and with every moving part of the business. Her background in leadership and organization means that every project is tracked, every commitment is kept, and every homeowner feels like a priority, not a number.
Alfonso is the reason Stormrise's work holds up. With more hands-on roofing experience than the other two combined, he brings field knowledge that can't be learned in an office. He's the one who knows which shortcuts to never take, because he's seen what happens when they do.
Our projects are handled by trained field crews. But Rafael, Dulce, and Alfonso are always reachable, before, during, and after your project. That's a commitment, not a line.
Our Standards
Houston is Home
Houston is our city. Our neighborhoods. Our community. We're not contractors from out of state who show up after a hurricane and disappear when the work dries up.
We built Stormrise here because this is where we live, where our families are, and where we plan to be for the next 20 years. Every roof we install is in a neighborhood we drive through. Every homeowner we work with is someone we might run into at the grocery store.
That matters to us. It changes how we work.
